My essay is about the anglicisation of Scottish culture after the Act of Union.

that all makes much more sense.

While I have nothing against writing strongly emotive essays, writing on topics that make you cry isn't usually a good approach, because it is so much harder to be objective.

Have you found anything neat out about your essay topic? I can understand sections of your sentence, but all strung together, I discover a topic that I didn't know existed!
