Our house has one bathroom. (In the Australian sense of "bathroom" - a room containing bathing facilities.) It currently has four people living in it. This is a situation in which mutual courtesy is important, and all that.

But I realised how non-feral a quasi-sharehouse this is when I walked into the bathroom earlier and thought: "Wow, this room smells really good..."

(Sadly, when I walked in again a bit later both [livejournal.com profile] velithya and I had just brushed our teeth, and the room just smelled of toothpaste.)
