not particularly relevant any more, but I was talking to someone at work about lengthy wait times for specialist appts and mentioned that someone I knew had to wait till May to get prescribed drugs for ADD and she suggested the behaviour clinic or whatever it's called at UWA who apparantly have a huge budget for research on add/adhd and will be able to prescribe stuff

That's still interesting and helpful, thanks. And I may yet contact them, in case having more case subjects for adult ADD helps in some fashion. (Not a charitable For Sciene! impulse, really - the idea of offering to help out research for a condition I have isn't exactly altruistic.)
