In contrast to pretty much every other object in my long history of wearing dangly things around my neck, stainless steel dogtags are awesome to have when trying to distract a baby. Rounded edges and they're very sturdy, so the infant will neither poke an eye out or break them.

And they jangle.

Also, I'm watching the second Jonathan Creek Christmas special, the one where Julia Sawalha's character is introduced.

Julia Sawalha is awesome and I [heart] her.
