Ummm ... at the risk of opening myself up to ridicule, I actually quite like some parts of Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus. I think that too many people fail to recognise the fundamental differences between men and women, and expect their partner to behave and react to things the way they would.

That said, I admit some of it is pretty patronising.

The best book I've read about relationships and the differences between men and women is called Love and Respect. I highly highly recommend it.
