Currently today I worked out that - having had a really awful month, and struggling with a high baseline anxiety level - I need not to be reading it because reading things I haven't read before is stressful.
Like, today I was slogging through a reeeaaally long backstory flashback and it just didn't interest me that much, and I find reading boring things extremely stressful, but because I haven't read it before, I couldn't just skip to the good bits like I do with fiction books I'm rereading, and I noticed it spiked my stress levels through the roof.
So I'm going back to reading it more occasionally, and only when I'm feeling solid.
