So, velithya and I are now definitely planning to visit the US in October. We'll be attending a con in Las Vegas (I can't believe I'm going to Las Vegas, what is happening to meeeeee, I thought I had standards), but we're arriving in the US a few days before it starts.
Currently, the plan is to spend a few days at Yosemite National Park before we head on to Las Vegas. Hopefully our brains won't explode at the transition from nature! to neon.

Ooh! Cam and I have bandied around the idea of doing exactly the same kind of trip, minus the con. (Apparently both places are super accsssible)

I will give you a review, if you like! Or, you know, you can draw conclusions from the posts I will obviously aim to make.
I know Yosemite seems to have a lot of places to go that you can drive to, or almost to, with, like, paths built and stuff. Although a lot of options for camping have restrictions to do with bear-proof food storage, so I don't know that that would be a good option regardless, since most physical disabilities would probably qualify as a disadvantage for RUNNING AWAY FROM BEARS.

I'm not sure I would have been super enthusiastic about needing to run away from bears even without the disabilities :)
