I'm secretly pretty sure that, at some point in the unknown future when the real story starts to come out, history will bear me out on this one, because it's the only thing I've yet worked out that makes it all make sense - up to and including why release the certificate after ignoring the whole "birther" issue for, literally, years beforehand.
