So, I've been playing The World Ends With You for the last few days. It's surprisingly absorbing. I'm currently on day 4 with Joshua. I kill many Noise.
... I started writing this post about six hours ago, then got distracted in various ways. I pick it up in the kitchen, where I'm cooking dinner for myself and sick!![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png) velithya. Per Dean's request we're having honey-roast chicken and macaroni cheese.
I am now feeling not-seriously-but-still sulky and like this makes me a cooking prima donna, because I am feeling all WHAT IS THIS HOW CAN IT EVEN WHAT WHAT that I have been asked to make a cheese sauce and we don't have a French whisk.
And without a French whisk there's a risk my cheese sauce coudl be...
... lumpy.
Meanwhile, in cooking topics: the sago recipe I posted a few weeks ago has a refinement: you can get the texture of the pudding to be more even, and much better, if you pre-heat the water before you add it for simmering.

One of the things I like about the game is every week you start out with someone totally annoying and you get really attached to them by the end.

I don't know... I never got to like Joshua at all, whereas I'm now on Beat Day 2 and I totaly adore him..
He's dumb as a rock, but I love him anyway.
Oh, Beat is the best. I love him.
