Should I go to Northern Ireland? There are ferries from Ayrshire.
ETA: Watching Question Time. Seeing Nick Griffin try to deal with an intelligent black woman sitting next to him making astute comments without exploding: kind of funny.
ETA2: I wish I could remember the African-American writer woman's name. She's not only brilliant, but she has the best can he actually be saying this in public, what the *fuck* face I have EVER SEEN.
Jack Straw is arguing pretty well. The Tory woman - who is herself a Muslim - is a bit too quiet, although in fairness, given her rather tight expression, she may be having difficulty composing a spontaneous reply that the BBC would be permitted to air.
... of course, as soon as I typed that, she starts excoriating him and simultaneously defending both Islam and Christianity.
Oh hey, African-American writer woman - Bonnie something - speaks up to cut through the argument and make a clear point. This is clearly not her first time in Racism 101. Then Dimbleby un-derails things the rest of the way, although I doubt it will last.
Dimbleby has a very polite way of saying "answer the fucking question".
ETA3: Bonnie Greer. I have never heard of her before I read the profile of these panellists, but she is freakin' awesome.
