You know, if you're wanting to make sure you don't end up sleeping too late all the time, and such, it's kind of handy to be coming from a later timezone, and also to have had some well-meaning kinfolk close your bedroom door so the cat wakes you when it wants to leave.
My body clock says IT'S NOON GET UP NOW ANYWAY.
I can't blame them, I was probably snoring terribly - my upper respiratory tract *really* doesn't like airports and aeroplanes. My nose itched from Perth airport, but after the flight to Kuala Lumpur, then time there, by a couple of hours into the flight to London my throat hurt and I had a very slight, but constant, nosebleed, and growing sinus headache.
This has all been improving again since I got *out* of the Air Transport system, but still.
Anyway, my last-minute omg-I-don't-have-one purchase of a torch seems to have been a brilliant idea. I used it on the plane when I dropped something during Dark Time and couldn't find it without light assistance, and now I can use it to find my way through a largely-unfamiliar house hours before anyone *else* is expected to be out of bed.
(Fortunately, the question of "what do I have for breakfast" is easily-enough resolved by the box of gluten-free cereal I brought with me from Perth.)

Yep. Yay, Britain, basically.
The cat is adorable. It's completely black, though, which makes me want to take BASEMENT CAT photos of it.
