So, more pictures from the weekend. Scenery, animals, and the efforts of an extremely amateur photojournalist.
What really struck me about these kids is that not one of them is looking at any of the others. Somehow, it seems, they're adjacent to each other's lives, even when they're together, and two of them are sharing an iPod.

More Photojournalist Wannabe pictures:

This is Wellington Street Train Station, in Perth.

Two more pictures from the set at the pond by the Old Mill, in South Perth:

I'm also adding a whoooole bunch of animal photos to my Gallery, taken at the Zoo, but I'll pick selections to post some other time.
With the exception of this one, because it's crying out for a caption:

What is this pygmy marmoset trying to tell me?

He might also like this one, then: a Common Marmoset biting my finger. :)
Wow, the clarity of the reflections on those pictures of the pond! Is it that calm all the time or did you have to wait for the right moment? (I don't think we'd ever get water that flat in the open here.)

It was just like that, that day, although it was an unusually calm day - pretty much no wind, which is very rare in Perth.
"Run, they'll get you too!"
Those pictures of children are awesome; kids are so tricky.
pictures look great.
I can't work out the phrasing, but I'm pretty sure the marmoset is pointing out the poor quality of the food to the viewer. (*billy crystal voice* juest lookit this stuff, yew'd think they could find us something better than this pap)
I think all of these are marvelous!
As for what he's saying?
OM NOM NOM of course!
