How you type: With fingertips? I've always found long fingernails get in the way of typing. We may have very different typing styles...

How you peel tape and labels: Leave the nails on your right hand long enough to do that, it's only the left hand that can have no fingernails. If you're strumming/picking without a guitar pick, fingernails are where it's at; if you're using a pick, unless your nails are *really* long, your fingernails are irrelevant.
