So, after I crashed and burned to a frightening extent on Sunday night due to sleep deprivation, I now have sleeping pills. (Well, I say "I have"... The pills are in the custody of Dean, who dispenses the allotted dose, since I am considered a non-zero flight risk from this mortal coil and therefore am not allowed to have a bottle of sleeping pills in my possession, lest I get... hungry.)
First night they worked a treat, last night was less restful, but still a lot more sleep than I was getting sans pills. INSOMNIA VS DRUGS, FIGHT!!!
In any case, my focus issues are the same as they've always been, but I'm less broken and more stable than I've been in, like, a month, despite the Crazy Juice incident.
The Crazy Juice incident is thus: I habitually keep a bottle of diluted juice to drink. It's a pleasant way to drink as much juice and as much water as I would in a day, just, more enjoyably if combined.
However, due to mildly complex circumstances, I had a second bottle for a bit, and when I went to drink from the other one, it had, somehow, fermented.
I am allergic to alcohol, in the sense that alcohol makes me dangerously depressive to the point of suicidal tendencies at the BEST of times.
I spat out the Crazy Juice as soon as I realised what was in my mouth, but I'd already swallowed a little and had the shock. (Instability effects could well be placebo effect in action.) It may nonetheless have contributed to my trouble sleeping last night. (As could the fact I'd only been up about eight hours when I went to bed, to be honest.)
Meanwhile, my enrolment for this year is sorted, mental health continues to make progress, and with any luck I have genuine treatable ADD and my brain ferrets can soon be drugged to insensibility.
