With all the malfunctioning?<br /><br />Seems to have been *creative*.<br /><br />See, it reported that it had copied all the files in my /2009/ directory, which contains all my uni work, to my external hard drive.<br /><br />That's not the funny bit.<br /><br />The funny bit is that it actually only copied about half of them.<br /><br />Can you guess which subdirectory it missed almost all of? This is the hilarious bit.<br /><br />It missed almost all of my "Field Linguistics" directory.<br /><br />Missing: about six hours or so of transcription work.<br /><br />Missing: all of my "field notes" on elicitation sessions. Those are unrecoverable if my laptop's hard drive is fucked.<br /><br />ARE YOU LAUGHING YET? I AM LAUGHING SO HARD RIGHT NOW.
